The onset of convection in the form magneto-inertial waves a rotating fluid sphere permeated by constant axial electric current is studied through perturbation analysis. Explicit expressions for dependence Rayleigh number on azimuthal wavenumber are derived limit high thermal diffusivity. Results case thermally infinitely conducting boundaries and nearly insulating obtained.
